On a rainy night like this, sometimes it's good to just spend time with yourself. Dressed in my comfy sweats and fluffy hello kitty slippers, I am spending my friday night with my favourite movie in bed. TGIF? Heck ya! Except...I still have work all weekend...oh well!

Every six-or-so weeks we need to change out our window displays. WELL, that day came once again, and it was not easy. Each of thoes christmas ornaments were individually stuck onto the board. The board itself had to be constructed, as well, which were VERY heavy. The back walls of each window had to be painted with three coats before I could even place my window displays. SO the list run-through for THE DAY :

• Paint 3 walls with 3 coats
• Construct 3 X-Large canvases
• Cover each canvas with images
• Individually stick each ornament into place
• Dress mannequins and bust forms to concept
• Wardrobe cube accessories
• Take pictures and send to head office

So yesterday after work, we held an "Ugly Christmas Sweater" party/meeting after store-hours. I managed to find a Christmas-like sweater in my mom's closet. Apparently I didn't look ugly enough for the party. Sorry guys, I tried!!! I mean, it had polar bears on it at least! The night ended up being really fun, but very tiring at the same time. Yay to everyone that owns an ugly Christmas sweater! Cheers!

Today was a just a typical work day for me. As for my makeup routine, it's pretty standard day-to-day, as well. I prefer to wear tinted moisturizer instead of foundation since it feels more natural. As for my false lashes, yes, I do wear them almost everyday. I believe the only days where I don't wear them are when I'm late or if I am wearing my glasses.

Today may have been one of the most challenging days at work. Retail is all about dealing with last-minute changes, along with providing excellent customer service. However, there are those few days when you are thrown the craziest customers, who seem to have the notion that we retail workers are here to cater to their every need. All I have to say is that I have never met a couple so rude and obnoxious in my 8 years working in retail. In order to gain respect, you must be respectful, and they clearly did not earn mine. A much needed chill night was needed, and that was exactly what I did. I dressed down to comfy clothes and met up with a great friend who truely understands every aspect of my life. I am blessed to have met her (<3 to "mama bear"). It was just one of those days.
